Sunflower Competition Prize Giving


On Friday 3rd September 2021 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan presented a prize for one of the entries for the Sunflower Competition at the Civic Hall. Well done to all who entered.



Didcot Fire Station


The Mayor attended the Didcot Fire Station on Wednesday 8th September 2021 to meet some of the new recruits. He also was cut out of a car to show the importance of wearing a seat belt whist driving.



Lord Lieutenant Dinner, Dorchester Abbey


On Wednesday 8th September 2021 the Mayor of Didcot along with Mayors from other towns attended the Lord Lieutenant's Dinner at Dorchester Abbey. It is held for all local Mayors and Chairs.



Play2Give Danceathon


On Sunday 12th September the Mayor attended the Play2Give Danceathon to help raise money for charity. The event was attended well by the public and the dancers danced fab. They are doing another one in 2022.



Didcot Army Cadets


On the evening of Wednesday 15th September the Mayor attended an event at the Didcot Army Cadets premises. He had a go at first aid and met his cadet for 2021/2022.



Banbury Battle of Britain Service


Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Banbury Town Council's Battle of Britain Remembrance Service on Sunday 19th September 2021. It was a great service, but unfortunately due to the cloudy weather the Spitfire fly pass was postponed.



Tim Stevenson Leaving Event, Blenheim Palace


Cllr Mocky Khan attended the farewell reception for the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire Sir Tim Stevenson at Blenheim Palace on Friday 24th September 2021. It was a lovely evening and I wish Sir Tim Stevenson well for the future.



Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary


The Mayor spent the afternoon of Saturday 25th September 2021 at the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell for the opening of the the new stables.
