Didcot Food Festival


On Saturday 2nd October 2021 the Mayor attended the official opening of the Didcot Food Festival, along with the MP David Johnston and celebrity chef Anthony Worrel-Thompson.



Blewbury Lights on Event


The Mayor had a great time at the Blewbury Tennis Club Lights on event on Tuesday 6th October 2021, where he met Tim Henman who opened the event.



Charity Reception - Crocodiles of The World


The Mayor Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Charity Reception for the Chairman of West Oxfordshire District Council at Crocodiles of the World, Carterton on Friday 8th October 2021.



Bernadine Soul Acro dance troupe


On Saturday 9th October 2021 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan met up with the Bernadine Soul School of dance winning Acro team to have a photo taken with them. They are a talented group of dancers and Cllr Khan couldn't help but join in the pose for the photo!



Quiz and Chips Event for Play2Give


Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Play2Give Quiz and Chips night at St Peter's Church, Didcot on Friday 16th October 2021 to raise money for the Play2Give charity. Although his team didn't win it was a fun evening.



Mayor of Henley Civic Service


The Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Mayor of Henley's Civic Service on Sunday 17th October 2021 followed by lots of yummy cakes!



Thame Civic Service


On Sunday 17th October 2021 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Thame Civic Service. A group of local young people put on a play for the visitors. It was a very interesting event.



St Frideswide Civic Service, Oxford


Cllr Mocky Khan, the Mayor of Didcot attended the St Frideswide Civic Service in Oxford on Tuesday 19th October 2021. It was a lovely service.



Charity Cake Sale, Civic Hall


On the morning of Thursday 28th October 2021 Cllr Mocky Khan, The Mayor attended a charity cake sale in support of his chosen charities, Play2Give and Coeliac UK.

Cakes were donated by staff at the Civic Hall and Bites of Delight (see photo).



Guide Dogs for the Blind 90th Birthday Party - Didcot Civic Hall


On Thursday 28th October 2021 the Mayor attended the 90th Birthday Party of Guide Dogs for the Blind. He enjoyed meeting the dogs and took part in a blindfold challenge - to make a jam sandwich. The event raised lots of money for the charity.



Play2Give Rock and Roll Bingo, Didcot


On Thursday 28th October 2021 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Play2Give charity Rock and Roll Bingo at the Boundary Park, Didcot. The event was a great success and the Mayor enjoyed the evening.
