Age UK AGM, Ashmoleum Museum, Oxford


On Friday 4th November 2022 The Mayor, Cllr Pam Siggers attended the annual AGM for Age UK.

Age UK helps old people with various things from financial help, arranging carers etc. Click here to be taken to their website.


Didcot Eco Fair, Cornerstone, Didcot


Cllr Pam Siggers, the Mayor of Didcot, attended the Eco Fair at the Cornerstone on Saturday 5th November. The event was organised by Sustainable Didcot.

Some of the stalls that attended were: Radbourne Repairs, mending and servicing peoples bikes and Didcot Library who held story time for children and Hagbourne scouts cooked a tasty stew.


Poppies to Paddington


On Armistices day, Friday 11th November 2022 the Mayor of Didcot provided a wreath to be taken to Paddington Station to be added to the War Memorial on Paddington Station.

This is the third year that GWR have arranged this event.



Armistices Service, Didcot Monument


A two minute silence was held at the Monument in Smallbones Rec on Friday 11th November at 11am.

The Mayor, Cllr Pam Siggers and some members of the Royal British Legion attended along with a few children from nearby Schools.



Didcot Events Craft Fair


On Saturday 12th November 2022, the Mayor, Cllr Pam Siggers was invited to the Didcot Events annual craft fair at the Civic Hall which is ran by Didcot Events.

The Mayor judged the best stall, which was Wd works - well done to them.



Didcot Remembrance Parade & Service


On Sunday 13th November 2022 the annual Remembrance Parade and Service took place. The Mayor attended along with other dignitaries. They paraded up from Edinburgh Drive and then gathered around the Monument in Smallbone Rec where the service took place.

After the service refreshments were available in the Civic Hall.




Dementia Play, Alma Barn Lodge Care Home, Didcot


On Wednesday 23rd November 2022, Cllr Pam Siggers attended a dementia play 'Grandma, Remember me' at the Alma Barn Lodge Care Home just outside Didcot.

The play was very moving and highlighted how dementia can effect all members of a family.



Exchange Students at Didcot Girls School


On Friday 25th November 2022 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Pam Siggers attended an event at Didcot Girls School to welcome some exchange students.

The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Axel Macdonald was also at the event in his role as part of the twinning association.


Didcot Arts Community Association AGM


On Tuesday 29th November 2022 the mayor was invited to the Annual General Meeting of the Didcot Arts Community Association (DACA) at Northbourne Hall in Didcot.

The mayor opened the meeting and spoke to the committee about the association which has been running for many years.


Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, An Evening at Dorchester Abbey


On Wednesday 30th November 2022 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Pam Siggers along with the Deputy Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Axel Macdonald attended the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire 'An Evening at Dorchester Abbey' to celebrate local Government in Oxfordshire.
