International Woman's Day, Didcot Girls School


On Wednesday 9th March 2022 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the Woman's International Day event at Didcot Girls School.

He spent the morning talking to students and staff at the school.


Play2Give Charity Ball


On Saturday 12th March 2022 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the annual ball of Play2Give which raises money for charity.

Play2Give is one of the Mayor's chosen charities for his mayoral year and the event raised lots of money for Andy Baker MBE and his team.



Didcot Amateur Boxing Academy ABC


On the evening of Tuesday 22nd March 2022 the Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan attended one of the training sessions of Didcot Amateur Boxing Academy ABC.

The club helps all ages to gain confidence as well as helping with mental health and physical health.

Some of the senior members helped man the road closures at the Remembrance Parade last November and we thank them for their support.



Didcot Town Council Awards


On Saturday 26th March 2022 The Mayor, Cllr Mocky Khan hosted the annual Didcot Town Council Awards.

The event is to recognise those that have done good in the community.

Didcot Phoenix Drama Group Pantomime


On Sunday 27th March 2022 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Mocky Khan attended the annual Didcot Phoenix Drama Group Pantomime. The play normally takes place in January but due to the Pandemic it was decided to postpone until March.

The play was fun and the Dame was on good form - with lots of banter with the Mayor!
