The Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire Service of Celebration for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee


On Saturday 4th June 2022 Cllr Pam Siggers, Mayor of Didcot attended the Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire Service of Celebration for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at Christ Church Cathedral Oxford.

The service was lovely and well attended.



Didcot Street Party for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee


On Sunday 5th June 2022 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Pam Siggers was invited to attend a street party to help celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

She spent approximately an hour at the party and manged to speak to most of the people attending before rushing off for another engagement in the evening.



The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022 Songs of Praise


On Sunday 5th June 2022, Cllr Pam Siggers, Mayor of Didcot attended the Bicester Town Council Songs of Praise for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The service was held at St Edburg's Church, Bicester.



Didcot Twinning Association AGM


On Tuesday 14th June 2022, Cllr Pam Siggers, Mayor of Didcot chaired the annual Didcot Twinning Association meeting at Boundary Park.



Visit to Didcot Army Cadets


On Wednesday 15th June 2022 the Mayor, Cllr Pam Siggers went along to the Didcot Army Cadets to meet the new Mayor's cadet (who assists the Mayor at various events during the Mayoral year). The Mayor also took part in various activities, including CPR training etc. and hand out certificates to other cadets.



Didcot Refugee Support Group Launch Meeting


On Tuesday 21st June 2022 the Mayor attended the Didcot Refugee Support Group Launch Meeting held at the Civic Hall.

The Mayor opened the event which was attended by schools, charities, churches and community groups.

Thames Ridge Scouts AGM


Thursday 23rd June 2022 The Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Pam Siggers attended the Thamesridge Scouts AGM at Didcot Civic Hall.

It was interesting to see what the scouting association has been up to over the last year.


Beyond The Boundary


The Mayor was invited to attend the Beyond the Boundary on Sunday 26th June 2022. The event was a family fun day was run by GWP church.

The Mayor judged the pet parade, and called the raffle.

A fun day was had by all.



ABF Soldiers' Charity Reception and Musical Evening


On Thursday 30th June 2022 the Mayor of Didcot and the Deputy Mayor of Didcot both attended a reception and musical evening at St Edward's School, Oxford.

The event was to raise money for the ABF The Soldiers' Charity were the British Army Band Sandhurst and the Concert Band of St Edward's school performed.

The evening was an exceptional evening and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor thoroughly enjoyed the event.
