Children's Christmas Party & Santa Groto
On Saturday 2nd December 2023 Didcot Town Council held a childrne's christmas party and Santa Groto.
At the party we had music, party games and activities - which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
We also had Santa's grotto where the children could visit Santa (for a small fee) and each child got a small gift from the man himself.
This was such a success we plan to do it again in December 2024.
Didcot Festive Market
On Sunday 3rd December the Mayor attended the Didcot Festive Market in the Market area of Didcot.
The Mayor, Cllr Axel Macdonald chose the best dressed stand - the winner Dave's Wooden Crafts.
There were lots of stalls selling homemade products and food outlets. It was well attended despite the weather.
Lord Mayor of Oxford Christmas Reception
On Monday 11th December 2023 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Axel Macdonald and the Deputy Mayor of Didcot both attended the Lord Mayor of Oxford's Christmas Reception.
The event is for dignities of Oxfordshire to meet up over the Festive period and was held in Oxford Town Hall.
Festive Fun Run
On Saturday 23rd December 2023 the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Axel Macdonald opened the Festive Fun Run.
The event is held in conjunction with Didcot Park Run to help raise money for the Mayor's chosen charities.
It was great to see so many peole in Santa suits on the day.
